About This Platform
Methodology, sources, and limitations
🎯 Purpose
This platform aggregates competitive intelligence for Singapore wealth management, covering product rates, customer perception, campaign activity, and strategic signals across major competitors.
It produces two types of reports:
- Weekly Tactical Digest: Actionable intelligence for working teams. What changed this week? What should we watch?
- Monthly Strategic Report: Executive summary for senior management. What are the trends? What should we consider?
🔬 Methodology
Data is collected from publicly available sources through a combination of automated scripts and manual capture. Raw data is then processed by Claude (Anthropic's AI) to produce synthesized reports.
Data Collection
- Automated: Scripts scrape public websites, APIs, and RSS feeds on a schedule
- Semi-automated: Scripts collect data, human reviews for relevance
- Manual: Human capture for sources that can't be automated (e.g., competitor emails)
Analysis
- Raw data is fed to Claude with structured prompts
- Claude synthesizes, classifies sentiment, and identifies notable items
- Human reviews output for accuracy before publication
Sentiment Classification
| 🟢 Positive | Explicit praise, recommendation, satisfaction |
| 🟡 Neutral | Factual, balanced, objective |
| 🔴 Negative | Complaints, criticism, frustration |

⚠️ Limitations
- Public data only: This platform uses only publicly available information. We do not have access to competitor internal data, actual customer numbers, or non-public strategy.
- Sentiment is inferred: Sentiment classification is done by AI and may not perfectly capture nuance, sarcasm, or context.
- Point-in-time snapshots: Rates and other data are captured at specific times. Intraday changes may be missed.
- Selection bias: Forum posts and reviews represent a vocal subset of customers, not the full customer base.
- Scraping limitations: Some websites may block scrapers, change structure, or require login. Data gaps may occur.
- AI interpretation: Claude may occasionally misinterpret data or make incorrect inferences. Human review is applied but not infallible.
